So what is support?

I have enquiries asking me what do i mean by support level.

In my previous post, i mentioned 2 support level 1750 & 1700 to watch out, market-sentiment-3-february-2014.

So what is support?

A support level is a price level where the price tends to find support as it is going down. This means the price is more likely to "bounce" off this level rather than break through it. However, once the price has passed this level, by an amount exceeding some noise, it is likely to continue dropping until it finds another support level.

MARKET SENTIMENT - 3 FEBRUARY 2014

S&P 500 did not manage to stay above 1800.
Month of Jan down by -3.6%.

My short term sentiment have turn bearish. please take note.

Support level 1: 1750

MARKET SENTIMENT - 6 JANUARY 2014

S&P 500 ended 2013 with a BIG BANG, +29.6%. Did you miss the boat?

HUAT la for 2013!!

So what is next for 2014. S&P 500 pulled back -0.5% for the first week for 2014.
